I went out again last night, it was tougher then the night before, my ankle really didn't like it, which is why it was only 4k's.
The pain is like someone hammering a rod into my heel and the ankle kind of crunches, wonderful feeling.
Tonight no running some situps and push ups instead..
Then back to running on Wednesday night

Hormonal !!!
When I was in defence I remember being told and also telling others, just keep going, push through the pain!!
So I did that today, I went back out to run, it hurt again as soon as I started, it didn't really let up but I kept going and rode through the pain.
I ran 8.5km I decided to call it quits then as much as I can push I didn't want to be in pain all night.
So now I am at home I will take some advil, stretch and tomorrow after work I will do another run but a lot smaller just to make sure I stay mobile.
There was only one point in the run when I thought I might roll it again but I managed to hold on.
So now for some well earned rest !!!

I need to send my Girl a pair of socks.
Mind you these wont be ordinary socks, I will find a lovely pair with the Aussie Flag design or something similar to send.

Well I gave it my all and only got to the end of the road, that is how long it took before I thought I would pass out from the pain that was shooting up my leg.
So I came home sooked for a bit and then packed my swimmers and off I went to the St Kilda Baths.
The pool is the best I have been in, heated salt water it wasn't too hot and there was a hot pool as well with jets, very enjoyable and a steam room.
It still hurt to swim but not as much as running, I know I am not a swimmer watching the people do laps I was envious, no matter how much I tried I just can't do lap after lap.
Hey...What I did find is I float, really I was in the deep end, not treading water or moving my arms just standing upright, but not sinking at all, I just floated it was so wierd but cool at the same time, so I spent two hours at the pool, swimming a few laps, floating, treading water, chillin in the steam room and relaxing in the hot water pool with the jets on my back.
Not a bad way to get rid of some energy, mind you it wasn't a lot of hard exercise but it was very enjoyable.
It has been two weeks now and not a single bit of exercise, no gym, no running, no mini home work outs.
I am going insane enough that I have decided this afternoon I will attempt a small run, see if my ankle will hold up.
It is still swollen a little but I need to do something.
I am not designed for inactivity it makes me grumpy and shirty and far to intolerant.
So wish me luck...
